TTGDCC Volunteers

Tea Tree Gully is very grateful for the work our volunteers do to ensure that the club runs smoothly and efficiently.  If you think that you would like to become a volunteer we would love to hear from you.  Volunteers can be involved by helping with scoring, afternoon teas, team managers, first aiders just to mention a few.

Code of Conduct for Volunteers

The essence of good ethical conduct and practice is summarised below.

All Volunteers must:

  • Consider the well-being and safety of participants before the development of performance;
  • Develop an appropriate working relationship with performers, based on mutual trust and respect;
  • Ensure all activities are appropriate to the age, ability and experience of those taking part;
  • Promote the positive aspects of the sport (e.g. fair play);
  • Display consistently high standards of behavior and appearance;
  • Follow all guidelines laid down by the national governing body and the Club;
  • Never condone rule violations, rough play or the use of prohibitive substances
  • Encourage performers to value their performances and not just result
